EMERGENCY CRITICAL INCIDENT DEBRIEFING

For contracted police departments, Peninsula Police Services (PPS) will respond immediately to an emergency request from the shift commander to assist officers and employees to deal with psychologically traumatic incidents, including shootings, etc.   PPS and Dr. Finegan will respond immediately when a critical incident request is received. Non-emergency debriefing requests will be scheduled within 24 hours of the request and follow-up debriefing will occur from 24 to 72 hours after the initial debriefing.
