WHO NEEDS TREATMENT?

Recovery with dignity Any person who is experiencing problems associated with alcohol or other drug use.

HOW IS NEED FOR TREATMENT DETERMINED?

Problems may be evident at home, in the workplace or in school. Problems may arise through the legal system, such as drinking and driving,juvenile justice issues, or drug possession charges. Problems may arise within the family structure such as stress, arguments or a breakdown in communications. There may be complaints from family members regarding drinking or drug use.

OVERVIEW OF TREATMENT

Each patient has an individual treatment plan to address his or her particular needs	Patients and families formulate a relapse prevention plan
Patients attend group therapy upto 3 evenings per week	Patients attend 12-Step meetings such as A.A., N.A. and C.D.A.
Families participate in weekly group sessions	Families attend Al-Anon and/or NarcAnon
Patients and families are educated about the disease of addiction

CONTINUUM OF CARE

Aftercare counselors have contact with patients and families at regular intervals for one year after completion of treatment. Patients and families continue 12-Step involvement on a regular basis.
