PROGRAMS OUTPATIENT ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUGS PROGRAM
Patients who have been assessed and found to be appropriate for a level of treatment less restrictive than the Intensive Outpatient Program will be admitted to this program. Patients admitted to this program may be self referred or by employers, attorneys or the legal system (DWI, etc.).

Treatment

Patients admitted to the program will attend education and group counseling sessions once a week. Their treatment duration will be based on individual need. Those patients admitted as a result of a Maryland DWI referral will attend a minimum of twenty-six weeks.
Patients will complete a Psycho-Social assessment and have a solution oriented Master Treatment Plan.
Patients will be required to maintain complete abstinence for the duration of their treatment.
Patients will submit to urine drug/alcohol screens at time of admission, and on a random or regular schedule thereafter.
Patients will be required to attend self-help groups (AA, NA, CDA) according to their individual treatment plan.
Discharge procedures will be the same as all other modalities of treatment.
